Join us for an inspiring workshop that takes you straight to the heart of Afro-Cuban dance and shows you how rumba can elevate your salsa dancing.
Whether you’re stepping into rumba for the first time or looking to deepen your understanding, this workshop welcomes all levels.
What you’ll learn:
Rumba Yambú – Smooth, grounded, and expressive, with elegant, flowing movement
Rumba Guaguancó – Playful, flirtatious, and full of conversation between dancers
Rumba Columbia – Fast, powerful, and solo-focused, celebrating agility and personality
But we won’t stop there. You’ll also learn how to translate rumba into your social salsa dancing—using Afro-Cuban movement, body expression, and rhythmic accents to add flavor, confidence, and authenticity on the dance floor.
